Chantilly High to Host 29th Annual Science Fair Wednesday

Nearly 600 science students will display 443 projects.

Chantilly High will host its 29th annual Science Fair on Wednesday with an open house scheduled for 6 to 6:30 p.m.

A total of 443 projects, representing nearly 600 science students, will be on display. Local experts in the fields of biology, chemistry, materials engineering, math, medicine and health, and physics will serve as judges. 

Projects, which include displays and research, will be housed in the science classrooms, lecture hall, and media center.  An awards ceremony is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31; awards will be distributed to winners in each project category as well as overall winners.

Students who receive first place awards are eligible to compete in the regional science fair in March at Robinson Secondary.
