Fair Oaks District Weekly Police Report

A summary of incidents reported for April 7-13.

For the week ending on April 13, there were one major incident, 12 larcenies and no vehicle thefts reported in the Fair Oaks District.

Major Incidents:

  • BIAS INCIDENT: A 56-year-old man found a note containing racial slurs on the windshield of his family’s vehicle around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7. The vehicle was parked in the 2800 block of Glade Vale Way. An investigation determined the note was placed there between 3 and 3:30 p.m. that day.

  • Draper Drive: Tools stolen from business
  • Fair Lakes Circle: Cash stolen from business
  • Fair Oaks Shopping Center: Jewelry stolen from business
  • Fairfax Corner Avenue: Scarf and makeup stolen from business
  • Franklin Farm Road: Beer stolen from business
  • Fairfax Farms Road: Landscaping equipment stolen from vehicle
  • Fairfax Farms Road: Tools stolen from vehicle
  • Grand Commons Avenue: Engagement ring stolen from residence
  • Lee Jackson Memorial Highway: Wallet stolen from business
  • Morrison Way: iPad stolen from residence
  • Wheatland Road: Building materials stolen from residence
