Young Man is Charged with Stabbing his Father to Death
Police arrested Gbassay Koroma, 18, of Centreville early Saturday morning.
Gbassay Koroma, 18, has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing his father, Francis Koroma, 40.
According to a statement released by the Fairfax County Police Department, officers responded to an apartment in the 5100 block of Woodmere Drive at approximately 10:55 p.m. Friday night.
The police discovered the victim has sustained stabbing injuries to his upper body. He was transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital where he died around 4:15 a.m. Saturday morning.

The suspect was charged with murder after being transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
