Burglaries in Woodbridge Target Jewelry, a Gun and Gaming Consoles

A list of the most recent thefts in the Woodbridge area.

Woodbridge area residents reported several recent burglaries to the Prince William County Police Department. 

Jan. 28, 4:59 p.m. A homeowner on the 3200 block of Bethel Church Drive reported that a burglary occurred between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry. Police believe entry was made through an unsecured rear sliding glass door. Jewelry, two gaming consoles, a laptop and other property valued around $3,000, were missing.

Jan. 28, 6:30 p.m. A homeowner on the 3500 block of Emory Lane reported to police that an iPad was stolen between 10:35 a.m. and 3 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry.

Jan. 28, 9:31 p.m. Police responded to the 13100 block of Rock Ridge Lane, where a homeowner reported that a burglary occurred between 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. the previous day. There were no signs of forced entry, but a gaming console valued around $300, and an undisclosed amount of cash were reported missing.

Jan. 29, 8:49 am. A homeowner on the 14300 Westminister Lane reported that cash and credit cards were stolen between 10 p.m. Jan. 28 and 6 a.m. Jan. 29. There were no signs of forced entry.

Jan. 29, 7:28 p.m. A homeowner on the 4500 block of Kingsley Road reported that a burglary occurred between 8 a.m. and 7:28 p.m. Entry was probably made by cutting the screen on a rear window. A laptop, handgun and other miscellaneous items, valued around $1500, were reported missing.

Jan. 29, 10:15 p.m. Police responded to the 12500 block of Oakwood Drive, where the homeowner reported that a burglary occurred between 4 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. The burglar likely entered through a basement window, which was broken out. A pair of shoes and a gaming console, valued around $500, were reported missing.

Jan. 29, 11:45 p.m. A homeowner on the 12300 block of Oakwood Drive reported that a burglary occurred between 8 a.m. Jan. 20 and 3 p.m. on Jan. 29. There were no signs of forced entry. Jewelry valued around $500 were missing.
