Adult Teams Needed For Midnight Softball at Braddock Park in Clifton

Can't sleep? Get out your mitt and cleats.

Just think: You’re yukking it up with your best pals and it’s your turn at bat. You knock the dirt from your cleats, take a couple practice swings and approach the mound.

The pitcher, a middle-aged accountant with thick glasses, stares you down, winds up and hurls a softball straight through that hole in your bat. Strike one. The taunts from your friends/teammates and the opposing team get louder. Strike two! Ok, don’t forget to breathe. Here it comes... SMACK! Home run!

The glory could be yours if you signed up for the Moonlight Madness softball tournament at Braddock Park in Clifton on Sat. Oct. 12 and the early morning of Sun. Oct. 13, 2013.
