The 2026 Women’s Storytelling Festival will take place March 19 – 22, 2026, starting with a virtual only showcase on Thursday, March 19th and continuing in-person at the Sherwood Community Center, 3740 Blenheim Blvd, Fairfax, VA 22030 starting on Friday evening and continuing through Sunday, March 22nd.

The festival is available to watch online or in-person. When you purchase a ticket on our website, whether for attending in-person or virtually, you will receive links to watch all of the videos.

An in-person festival pass also grants the ticket holder links to watch online, in case they miss any part of the live shows. The virtual only tickets do not grant in-person attendance.
Early Bird Pricing Ends February 20, 2026. The Women’s Storytelling Festival features a diverse array of stories, many intended for a mature audience.

The Women’s Storytelling Festival, produced annually in March by Better Said Than Done, is a festival celebrating all women and gender nonconforming spoken-word performing artists. We are human. We are storytellers. We are women. Hear us tell.
