Clifton Film Fest Makes Kickstarter Fundraising Goal
There will be movie magic at the Workhouse Arts Center next month.

Just like a movie, the fifth annual Clifton Film Fest barely made their fundraising goal. The $1,500 Kickstarter goal was reached, and at the end of the day, 17 backers contributed $1,501.
"Our supporters came through and will allow us to run smoothly July 20, which I am really excited about," said Film Fest founder Dani Weinberg. "We have a lot of submissions coming in and are some of the best films we have had in the past years. We will have a day showing inside in the theater at the Workhouse Arts Center followed by a fun night with food, music and original films under the stars."
The fundraising deadline was June 26, and the goal was raised the day before.
The Clifton Film Fest will be held rain or shine outside at the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton.
Admission is $5 per person for the day showing at 4:00 p.m. and $10 for the evening program on the Workhouse quad at 7:30 p.m.
