Fairfax Station's Week Ahead: Live Music, Park Events and a Wine Tasting

These summer weeks fly by, don't they? So, here's a sneak peak at what you can look forward to this week in the area of Fairfax Station, Virginia: 

1. Like to be one with nature? There are multiple events going on Monday - Friday this week at Burke Lake Park - hikes, canoeing, mini-golf and more! 
2. Like to play games? Kids ages 6-10 can play chess, checkers, cards and Scrabble at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday this week at the Burke Centre Library. 
3. Every Friday Night: From now until Labor Day, Friday night is "Friday Oyster Happy Hour" at Trummer's on Main in Clifton. 
4. Music in Paradise: You can catch singer-songwriting duo "Suburban Hearts" at the Paradise Springs Winery on Friday from 5 - 9 p.m.  
5. The Winery at Bull Run is hosting a "Red, Wine and Blues" wine tasting on Sunday to help local kids in need go back to school this fall. Click here for more!
