Motorcyclist Dies From Injuries After Crash On Braddock Road: Police

A motorcyclist from Sterling has died after crashing on Braddock Road near Fairfax County Parkway almost a month ago, the police said.

Brian Perry, 63, was riding a 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle around 6:15 p.m. on June 29, traveling eastbound on Braddock Road, when he crashed. He died from his injuries on July 12, police said.

FAIRFAX, VA — A motorcyclist from Sterling has died after crashing on Braddock Road near Fairfax County Parkway almost a month ago, the Fairfax County Police Department announced Wednesday.

Brian Perry, 63, was riding a 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle around 6:15 a.m. on June 29, traveling eastbound on Braddock Road. When he drove from the paved portion of the road to the milled section of asphalt, Perry lost control and crashed, police said.

Perry was taken to a hospital and on July 12 died from his injuries. Police said they do not believe speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.

Perry is the seventh non-pedestrian to die in a vehicle crash in Fairfax County this year, according to the police department. The county had recorded five fatalities by this point in 2021.
