The Clifton Wine Shop & Tasting Room is Moving/Growing

Red or white?

In six weeks, the dream of having your own wine cellar in the heart of Clifton will be a reality. The Clifton Wine Shop & Tasting Room is planning for a late August reopening at the corner of 7145 Main Street.

Clifton's "High End Consignment" is leaving the space, and the next six weeks will be occupied by renovation. The new two-level wine shop and tasting room will be about 1,000 square feet. The bottom level will have counter space and feature coffee and pastries. The upper level will have the tasting room, the wine cellar

"We're going to have an expanded wine selection and the space to allow people to cellar their wines," said wine shop owner Lucinda Lawson to Patch. "I'm turning it up a notch, and we're going to be featuring rare wines that you won't be able to find nearly anywhere else."

One of those vintages includes two cases out of 600 produced of the 2009 Robert Parker Bordeaux selection (four reds and one white).
