Rescue Me: Dora Wants To Be Friends With You And Your Cat

FAIRAX STATION, VA — Homeward Trails Animal Rescue describes 2-year-old Dora as the perfect dog for cat lovers.

"Dora is amazing with feline friends, and would be great with anyone who has a quasi work from home schedule," HTAR said. "She's pretty chill on her own for the most part, but wouldn't be good left by herself all the time. She loves her people. She's an easy going and friendly girl! She loves a good couch snuggle."

Dora also loves being outside and going on walks. Her fosters report that she gets the happiest smile on her face when she's out walking.

Homeward Trails Animal Rescue adopts pets to homes in Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland. Anyone interested in our animals can complete an adoption questionnaire. We work with applicants to ensure a good match between them and the pet and vice versa, the adoption questionnaire is how we start the adoption discussion. Most of our animals are in foster homes in the area. Others are available to meet by appointment at our Adoption Center.
