Soccer Pro Shop in Fairfax Investigated for Selling Counterfeit Sportswear

No one has yet been charged.

Virginia State Police are investigating the Soccer Pro Shop at 10342 Lee Highway in Fairfax, for possibly selling counterfeit athletic apparel, according to a FCPD search warrant affidavit.

Among the items seized in a recent search: a T-shirt press and handheld iron, hundreds of unprinted Nike jerseys, shin guards and hats.

"All items from each of the undercover purchases were examined by an expert…who verified that all the items were indeed counterfeit goods," wrote the investigating officer in the search warrant affidavit. "Based upon this investigation it is clear the Soccer Pro Shop and their employees are engaged in the sale of counterfeit products to members of the public."
