FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA — A person injured in a shooting in the Groveton area of Fairfax County Monday afternoon was taken to a nearby hospital, according to the Fairfax County Police Department. The shooting <a href="https://twitter.com/fairfaxcountypd/status/1622686854498639872?s=46&amp;t=jK1NUeJDvGTxzfivwLbaNg" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">occurred</a> in the 7100 block of Fairchild Drive in Groveton, the police said in a tweet shortly after 3 p.m. The shooting suspect left the scene in a dark-colored coupe, police said. No other descriptions of the suspect are available at this time, according to police.
