Alexandria Murder Victim Had 'Association' With Shooters: Police

Police say the fatal shooting​ of an Alexandria woman and a Woodbridge man in Burtonsville, Md. was not a random event.

BURTONSVILLE, MD — Police say the fatal shooting of an Alexandria woman and a Woodbridge man in Burtonsville, Md. was not a random event. Detectives announced Thursday that they believe there was some prior association between the victims and suspects.

The victims were identified as Ashley Susan Dickinson, 34, of Alexandria, Va. and Joshua Michael Frazier, 29, of Woodbridge, Va. They were found shot to death in a car in a parking lot in the 14100 block of Aldora Circle on Feb. 15, police said.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled the deaths as a homicide on Thursday.

Police call the deaths "suspicious" and said a passerby found the victims deceased in a white Audi SUV with the engine running.

Anyone with information about this double homicide is asked to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070. Crime Solvers offer a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to a conviction.
