Armed Robbery Saturday Morning at North Kings Highway Store: Police

Police say the man entered the store, displayed a gun and demanded cash from an employee at the Fairfax County convince store.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A convenience store was robbed at gunpoint early Saturday morning on North Kings Highway, according to Fairfax County Police.

Police say a man entered the 7-Eleven store at 6138 N. Kings Highway and displayed a handgun and demanded cash from an employee Saturday at around 5:10 a.m.

The suspect took cash and cigarettes and fled on foot, police said. The victim did not require medical attention.

The suspect was described as black, about 30 to 35 years old, approximately 140 to 160 pounds, according to police. He was wearing a black jacket and pants, a grey mask and gloves.
