- Did you know butterflies taste with their feet? Enjoy these flowers that fly at Brookside Garden in Wheaton as part of its Wings of Fancy Live Butterfly & Caterpillar Exhibit at Brookside Gardens Conservatory. The display is open through Sept. 22 at 1500 Glenallen Ave., Wheaton, Md., 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
- Ahoy! Get on board the Boomerang Pirate Ship on the Georgetown Waterfront for a family fun treasure hunt cruise along the Potomac.
