Highland Hill Boys at Unitarian Church Bluegrass Coffeehouse, April 21

Join us for an evening of traditional American music with table seating, coffee, tea, drinks, and desserts for a Bluegrass Coffeehouse with special guests the Highland Hill Boys, at 5 pm, Sunday, April 21, at the Mt. Vernon Unitarian Church (MVUC), 1909 Windmill Lane, Alexandria Va. The coffee house is part of the MVUC Presents series of occasional concerts.

Free Association, an acoustic trio featuring MVUC’s Patricia Day Williams, will open the coffeehouse. The featured performers, the Highland Hill Boys, are six young men from Baltimore who prove age is not a factor if you love great bluegrass music. From traditional bluegrass to classic rock jams and everything in between, the Highland Hill Boys boast warm harmonies and a high energy that will entertain and make you smile.

Suggested donation: $10 per person, $25 per family. Jointly sponsored by MVUC’s Music and Social Justice groups to benefit the NAACP.  For more information see www.mvuc.org.
