Fire Rips Through Hybla Valley Apartment Building

Monday morning fire displaces residents of apartment building at Mount Vernon Square in Hybla Valley, according to fire department.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A two-alarm fire Monday morning has displaced residents of an apartment building in Hybla Valley, according to Fairfax County Fire & Rescue.

The building is located in the 2700 block of Arlington Drive (see map below).

The fire started in the attic of the building, according to the fire department. The Red Cross is helping residents who were displaced. The fire department did not say how many residents were displaced.
