Fire Off Telegraph Road: Resident, 82, Dies from Injuries
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue says resident died at home that caught fire Saturday; fire was started by electrical problem.
FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA (UPDATE 8:30 p.m.) -- A resident of the home that caught fire off of Telegraph Road Saturday has died, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue. The resident was an 82-year old man who succumbed to his injuries, according to the TV station.
Here's an update from Fairfax County Fire and Rescue:
Firefighters from Fairfax County Fire and Rescue were on the scene Saturday putting out the house fire at a home in the Telegraph Road area. Fairfax County Fire and Rescue first posted a report at about 4:30 p.m. Saturday on Twitter about the fire at the home, located in the 3700 block of Logan Court off of Telegraph Road (see map below).

The man was at home, was found and transferred from inside the house, according to the fire department. Northern Virginia Fire Buffs reported that a helicopter was taking the resident to a hospital, flying out of nearby Lee District Park.
