Huntley Meadows Park to Host Holiday Happening

Huntley Meadows Park will celebrate the holiday season with its Holiday Happening event Sunday.

Families can participate in a variety of activities including making crafts, hikes, and more.  Attendees will also receive a 10 percent discount off merchandise in the park store.

Also on Sunday, the Friends of Huntley Meadows Park will host the opening reception for the 2012 Photography Contest. The photo contest is a fundraiser for the park. The public is invited to attend the opening reception and awards ceremony, and refreshments will be served.
