Man Exposes Himself to Girls in Fort Hunt Area: Police

Police are asking if any others have encountered suspect. He was charged after exposing himself to girls, police said.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Police have charged a man with Felony Indecent Liberties, after he exposed himself from his car to two young girls on the pretext of asking for directions, according to Fairfax County Police.

Jovica Stanisic, 26, faces the charges after a police investigation that began last Thursday. Officers responded to a home on Old Stage Road in the Fort Hunt area and spoke to the parents of a 10-year-old girl. The parents told officers that on Tuesday, August 16, at around 6:15 p.m., their daughter was walking with a friend to the Riverside Gardens Swim and Tennis Club, located 8633 Buckboard Dr.

The girls were near the intersection of Stable Drive and Stirrup Lane (see map below) when a white male with sunglasses and some facial hair drove up next to them in a silver sedan, police said. He stopped and asked the girls for directions to Sandburg Middle School, which is nearby.

The 10-year-old victim reported that she could see that the man’s private parts were exposed through his zipper and that he was touching himself inappropriately, according to police. She gave the suspect directions and he drove away. The victim was not injured and there was no attempt to lure the children into his car.

Detectives canvassed the Riverside Gardens and Waynewood neighborhoods and developed information that led them to Stanisic, police said. Police said he is known to drive a silver 2010 Mercedes Benz four-door with tinted windows. He has also been seen driving a dark gray 2015 Chrysler 200 four-door, according to police. Below are photos of the cars, from FCPD:
