Mount Vernon Police: 37-Year-Old Man 'Maliciously' Stabbed

Also: A license plate, jewelry, and a boat lift were stolen in Fort Hunt

The following are crimes reported by the Mount Vernon Police District station from March 3rd through March 9th.

Police arrested a Mount Vernon man for stabbing a 37-year-old man in his upper body last Sunday morning. The incident occurred on the 8400 block of Madge Lane on Sunday around 1 a.m. Police charged Ricardo Lopez Interiano, 25, for malicious wounding. The victim was transported to the hospital for non life-threatening conditions.

Police say a license plate was stolen from a vehicle on the 3000 block of Fordson Court.
