Update: Police Reveal Photos of Suspected Route 1 Bank Robber
Wachovia Bank on Richmond Highway was robbed this morning
Update 5:24 p.m.: Police say Wachovia Bank at 7706 Richmond Higway was robbed Tuesday at 10:50 a.m. The suspected robber passed a note to a teller and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, police say.
He is described as a black male in his 30s, around 6 feet tall, with a thin build. He wore a black coat with blue jeans. Police say there were no injuries. Anyone with information is asked to contact Fairfax County Crime Solvers.

Fairfax County Police are looking for a man suspected of robbing Wachovia Bank at 7706 Richmond Highway at 10:50 a.m. this morning.
Police say the suspect was last seen on foot. He is believed to be a black male around 30 years old wearing a black jacket with a hood and blue jeans. Police did not say whether the robber was armed, but crime prevention officer Greg Kottemann cautioned that he could be "dangerous."

Officer Tany Wright said that "robbery detectives are on the scene" and that they are still interviewing witnesses. She added that the Fairfax County Public Information office would provide additional information after further investigation.
Police ask anyone with information to call 911 immediately.
