Robbery at Gunpoint Saturday Morning on Huntington Avenue: Police

Masked gunmen entered the business, one displayed a gun; one of the suspects allegedly pushed a female clerk, 30, police said.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A business on Huntington Avenue was robbed at gunpoint Saturday morning by two masked suspects, according to Fairfax County Police.

The robbery took place before 10 a.m. Saturday in the 2200 block of Huntington Avenue (see map below). An investigation determined two men entered the business, one of them displayed a gun and demanded money from the clerk, a 30-year-old woman, police said. The suspect allegedly pushed the victim, took an undisclosed amount of cash from a drawer then both suspects ran out of the store to a car waiting nearby and fled the area, according to police.

Police said both suspects were described as black, with their faces covered. One suspect was about 5 feet 11 inches tall and 195 pounds, wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans; the other was about 5 feet 6 inches tall and 155 to 170 pounds. The vehicle was described as a silver, four-door. The victim did not require medical attention.
