A shopper returned to his vehicle and a man jumped into the unlocked passenger side and implied he had a weapon, police said.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A shopper was carjacked Wednesday at the Kings Crossing shopping center, at 6303 Richmond Highway (see map below), according to Fairfax County Police.
The shopper, a 42-year old man, was returning to his car around 5 p.m. Wednesday after shopping at Walmart, police said. His car, a 2002 Honda Odyssey, was parked on the south side of the business. As he entered his car, an unknown man entered from the unlocked passenger side, implied he had a weapon and threatened the victim, police said. Police didn't say what kind of weapon was implied.
The suspect told the victim to drive, but the victim refused; instead, the victim got out of the car and yelled for help while trying to remove his keys from the ignition, according to police. The suspect pushed the victim away from the car and drove off, striking another vehicle during his escape, police said. The victim was not injured.
