Store Employee Robbed at Gunpoint by Masked Man in Hybla Valley: Police
The Rent-a-Center employee was walking to his car Monday night when he was robbed, police said.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Fairfax County Police say a store employee was robbed at gunpoint by a masked man as the employee was walking to his car Monday night in the 7700 block of Richmond Highway, at the Rent-A-Center store (see map below).
The employee, 38, was walking to his car between 9:45 and 10 p.m.; as he was getting into his car, another man approached from behind and demanded money, according to police. The employee refused and the suspect grabbed for the money bag, police said. The two struggled briefly and the suspect produced a gun, according to police. The victim surrendered the bag and the suspect fled.
The suspect was described as Hispanic, between 20 and 25 years old, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and 160 pounds. He was wearing all black and his face was covered. The victim did not require medical attention.
