Suspect Robs Richmond Highway Gas Station at Gunpoint, Restrains Employee: Police

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Fairfax County Police say a suspect robbed a local gas station at gunpoint late Thursday night on Richmond Highway.

The suspect entered the Liberty gas station at 7501 Richmond Highway (see map below) Thursday around 11:03 p.m., displayed a gun and restrained the gas station attendant, police said.

The suspect took money from the victim and the register, then fled on foot, according to police. The suspect was described as white, about 6 feet tall and 180 pounds, police said. He was wearing black clothing and his face was covered.
