Teen Goes Missing for One Month from Alexandria Area: Report

Xya McClure of Fairfax County is with her mother, NBC-4 reports, but the mother is not her custodial parent.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A 16-year old girl has been missing from the Greater Alexandria area for a month, according to a report by NBC-4. The teen, identified by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children as Xya McClure, has been missing since Oct. 3, according to the center.

Xya is described by the center as being 5'2" tall, about 160 pounds. Xya is biracial, Hispanic and Black, the center said. Xya has her ears pierced and a scar behind one leg. She may be in the company of an adult female, identified by NBC-4 as her mother, who is not her custodial parent.

The two may still be in the local area or they may have traveled to the District of Columbia, Maryland, Arizona, or New York.
