Trash Pickup Information for Columbus Day Monday, Oct. 10 in Fairfax County

Will there be trash pickup on the holiday?

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A notice from Fairfax County regarding trash pickup on Monday:

Please be advised that Monday, October 10 will be a regular solid waste collection day for customers receiving Monday collection service for trash and recycling and for customers with previously scheduled collections. All materials should be at the curb by 6 a.m. in order to ensure that they will be collected.
Our administrative office will be closed on Monday, October 10 for the Columbus Day holiday. The office will reopen at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 11.
The Recycling and Disposal Centers at the I-66 Transfer Station (4618 West Ox Road) and the I-95 Landfill Complex (9850 Furnace Road) will both be open on Monday, September 5.
