Woman Thrown to Ground, Robbed Outside Home: Police
A 42-year old woman was pushed to the ground as she was about to enter her home on Woodhue Place.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A woman walking home Wednesday afternoon was pushed to the ground and robbed as she approached her front door, according to Fairfax County Police.
Police said the incident took place Wednesday at about 4:45 p.m. on Woodhue Place (see map below) off of Janna Lee Avenue.
The woman, 42, was walking alone and was pushed to the ground and robbed of her purse as she approached the front door of her home, police said. The victim was not injured, police said.

Police said K9 assisted and located some of the victim’s belongings not far from the initial crime scene. The only description of the suspect was that he was black, police said. The victim also reported seeing a group of four other black males that seemed to be connected to the suspect in this case, according to police. The investigation is ongoing.
