After an unknown vandal used a flare to burn an inappropriate picture onto a playground slide at Springwoods Elementary School, the Fire Marshall's office is offering up to $1000 to anyone who can tell them information about the vandal, according to police spokesperson Jonathan Perok. Springwoods Elementary School security told police that the vandal burned the slide between 8 p.m. on Aug. 9 and noon on Aug. 10. In addition to the inappropriate picture, the bottom of the slide was burned. Damages to the playground totaled $1000.
