Occoquan Merchant Submits Store Diorama to WashPo's Peeps Contest
Off the Beading Path owner Denise Bush displays the diorama in her store.

Off the Beading Path owner Denise Bush hopes her Peeps diorama of her own shop will appeal to the sweet tooth of Washington Post editors.
The deadline to submit a photo of a Peeps diorama was last Monday, and Bush submitted a photo of a pared-down rendering of the shop, with beads on the walls, and a beading class represented by Peeps.
As far as she knows, Bush is the only merchant to submit a diorama to this year's contest, but she hopes that next year, every merchant in Occoquan could submit shop dioramas.

"It could be 'OccoPeeps," Bush said, in an allusion to last year's winning entry, "OccuPeep DC."
