Woodbridge Man Charged With Unlawfully Entering Lake Ridge Home

The homeowner said the man was drunk when he entered the house, according to Prince William County Police.

Police charged Woodbridge resident Carlos Alfredo Montes-Caceres, 22, with unlawful entry and intoxication in public Feb. 27 after a Lake Ridge homeowner reported an unknown man entering his home, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.

Police responded to the 12900 block of Luca Station Way on Feb. 27 at 9:23 p.m. for the report of a burglary in progress. The homeowner told police that the sound of his dogs barking woke him up.

"Upon checking the front door, he observed an unknown man standing on his porch. When the homeowner opened the door, the man pushed his way inside," Perok said. "The homeowner was able to get the man outside and call police. Officers arrived and identified the man as the accused. The accused was intoxicated and was subsequently arrested."
