Fitness Meets Fun at Get Movin' Family Fun Day

Kids of all ages are invited to join a celebration of fitness and fun at this year’s Get Movin’ Family Fun Day in honor of National Family Health & Fitness Day. The event takes place Saturday, Sept. 13 from 12 to 4 p.m. at the ProJet Aviation Hangar in Leesburg Executive Airport.

Presented by Inova Health System and the WNBA’s Washington Mystics, Get Movin’ Family Fun Day will feature a rock climbing wall, obstacle course, face painting, balloon artists, glitter tattoos and various games and entertainment throughout the day. The event will also feature a Radio Disney Dance Party and Disney Junior Doc mcStuffins “Toy Check-Up Clinic,” so make sure to bring your favorite toy, doll or action figure for a quick check-up.

The first 500 families to sign in at the event will receive a drawstring backpack and surprises courtesy of Inova and Radio Disney. Families will also have a chance to enter a drawing for door prizes.

Free parking is available for guests at Heritage High School lot at 520 Evergreen Mill Road, SE in Leesburg. Complimentary shuttle busses will run between the school and the event entrance.
