Loudoun Free Clinic to Host Fifth Annual Boots, Beer + BBQ Fundraiser

LEESBURG, VA -- Loudoun Free Clinic will host their 5th Annual Boots, Beer & BBQ Fundraiser Friday, Dec. 2 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at The Stables at Bluemont Vineyard. The vineyard is located at 18755 Foggy Bottom Road, Bluemont, VA 20135 (see map below).

The event will feature live music, local food, local beer and wine, dancing, raffle prizes and a bidding auction. Music will be provided by Liquid A, a band that covers music from all genres with a guarantee that you will be on your feet all night long. If you are ready for a good time with a great cause, this is the place to be, organizers said.

“The Fundraising from Boots, Beer & BBQ goes directly to helping our patients access their necessary medications, primary and specialists care for their medical needs at little to no cost to the patient," said Rahman Parker, executive director of the Free Clinic. "Ultimately this helps to reduce overall healthcare costs in the community -- offering our most vulnerable residents an opportunity to heal and serve in our community."

Boots, Beer & BBQ allows Loudoun Free Clinic to better serve their patients. In a matter of five hours, with your help, the Free Clinic will be able to provide better quality service to more deserving residents of Loudoun County, organizers said.

“I hope people will have a fantastic time while they are here, but I also hope they learn a little more about what it takes to provide medical care to the lower income population of Loudoun," added Bill Schmidt, chairman of the Board. "Sometimes we forget about those that need help in such an affluent county, but they are out there and they need us. We need to make sure we help our fellow residents when needed."
