Man Arrested After Pointing Gun At Boy In Leesburg: LCSO

A man was arrested after pointing a gun at a juvenile in a Leesburg home, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

LEESBURG, VA—A man was arrested Thursday after pointing a gun at a juvenile Jan. 5 at a home in the 18800 block of Silverwood Terrace, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Pietro Schinaia, 50, of Leesburg, was charged with brandishing a firearm and released on a summons.

On Jan. 6, a LCSO school resource officer was made aware of an incident that occurred the previous night at the aforementioned address. A boy said he was at his friend's house when the homeowner, Schinaia, pointed a handgun at him. After an investigation and consultation with the Loudoun County Commonwealth's Attorney office, Schinaia was charged.
