Woman Killed By Falling Tree Branch In Leesburg: Police
A woman died early Wednesday after being hit by a falling tree branch Tuesday night in Leesburg: Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

LEESBURG, VA—A woman died early Wednesday after being hit by a falling tree branch Tuesday night in the 41600 block of Stumptown Road, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Her name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
Shortly after 9 p.m., police responded to the area and found that the woman apparently had been clearing fallen tree branches in the area. That's when a large tree branch fell on her, after which she was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
