Wondering what the construction is on Gunston Road in Mason Neck? Why it's the extension of the Mason Neck Trail.*Lorton Patch wrote about in and of last year. At the time, the projection was that it would be ready for the summer, if not sooner. From the looks of things, the project seems to be on schedule.  Note - In a previous version of this article the road was called Gunston Cove Road. It is now correctly listed.
