New Bench at Bus Stop Courtesy of Mason Neck Lions

If you were traveling on Armistead Road and wondered, "Where did that bench by the bus stop come from?", then wonder no more.

It's just the latest project from the Mason Neck Lions. It was installed thanks largely to the efforts of Joe Chudzik, who acquired a grant to cover the cost, bought materials, made the concrete molds, cast the reinforced concrete, assembled the bench in his basement, and then disassembled it because it is too heavy to lift (400 lbs).

So if you see Joe, be sure to thank him for all he does for Lorton.
