Today,<a href="http://www.nvrpa.org/park/pohick_bay/content/outdoor_pool" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> Pirate's Cove Waterpark</a> at Pohick Bay Regional Park in Lorton was an oasis for hundreds of visitors.    With the heat index at 105, parents and kids alike took to the waterslides, fired water cannons and cooled off under the 300-gallon dumping bucket.  Enjoy the pictures!   Know someone or something ready for its closeup?
