Photos of the Week: August 8 - 12

The summer is almost over, but family vacations are still in full swing. Congress has joined other legislative bodies for a long-needed break, and local political candidates are door-knocking before the August 23 primary election.

In other words, things are quiet, but sadly, the work week of August 8 - 12 was punctuated by terrible car crashes in Lorton that claimed the lives of four people.
