Police Investigate Sexual Assault in Lorton
Suspect is Hispanic, 5'7" tall, clean-shaven, with short, dark hair. Victim was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Police were called for a report of a sexual assault on Friday around 4:55 p.m. in Lorton, Fairfax County Police said Saturday.
An investigation determined a 20-year-old woman was walking in the area of Richmond Highway near Cherwek Drive (see map below) when a man approached from behind, grabbed her dress and sexually assaulted her, according to police. The suspect fled on foot.
Police units and a K-9 team searched the area extensively but did not locate the suspect. The suspect was described as Hispanic, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and clean-shaven, with short, dark hair, according to police.

The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
