A man was beaten and robbed on Wednesday, July 6, while walking from the Gunston Plaza 7-11 on the 7700 block of Lorton Road.  At around 2:15 p.m.: "The victim reported he was beaten by a group of three or four black men," said Fairfax County Police spokesperson Lucy Caldwell. "One of them had dreadlocks and they all wore black jeans." During the skirmish, the victim, a 27-year-old man from Dumfries, reported being struck by a blunt object. He received non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital.  The suspects fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and groceries.
