South County Grapplers Ready to Pin the Opposition

Sights set on a big year

The South County wrestling team enters the 2010-2011 season with high hopes. Coming off a 20-8 campaign last year, second year coach Sean Anderson is optimistic that wrestlers who found their first taste of success last year can take their performance to the next level. Anderson believes the roster is strong from top to bottom, but points to junior Keegan Sullivan at 152 and seniors Tyler Howard and Christian Merino at 140 and 160, respectively, as wrestlers he expects to have a big year. The Stallions open their season tomorrow at the Spotsylvania Dual meets. Here's a look at the starters:
