Christmas is in the air and Lorton schools are doing their part to spread glad tidings. South County Secondary School in particular is feeling the holiday spirit with a pair of events in mid-week for the musically inclined.

Tuesday, December 7th

Young musicians take the stage as the Chorus and Strings Concert is held at Lorton Station Elementary School. Grades K-3 perform from 1:45 to 2:25. 4-6 play from 2:35 to 3:15.
Wednesday, December 8th
The All Night Graduation Party has their regular meeting at South County Secondary School from 7-9 p.m.
Also at South County on Wednesday at 7 is the Winter Chorus Concert.
Gunston Elementary has Curriculum Night for grades K-3 at 7 p.m.
Thursday, December 9th
Thursday morning from 9:20 to 10:20 it's coffee time at the Advanced Academic Center in Lorton Station Elementary School.
That evening at 7 the South County Secondary School's orchestra holds its winter concert.
Friday, December 10th
Anyone Lorton Station student who did not get his/her picture taken will have another chance today. Pictures of clubs will also be taken.
