Interested in running for local office in Manassas or Manassas Park City in 2026? 

  • Manassas City voters will elect three School Board members and three City Council members, while Manassas Park voters will elect three Governing Body members.  If interested in running as an endorsed or nominated Democrat, please contact the Manassas and Manassas Park Cities Democratic Committee (MMPCDC) co-chairs soon at mmpcdc@gmail.com or 571-358-9893. 
  • We recommend that potential candidates review the Virginia Department of Elections page about becoming a candidate and its 2026 Candidate Bulletin: How to Run for a Local Office.
