Man Arrested For Attempted Murder In Manassas: Police
A man was arrested for attempted murder Thursday after an incident the previous day in a Super 8 motel, according to Manassas City Police.

MANASSAS, VA—A man was arrested for attempted murder Thursday after an incident the previous day in a Super 8 motel at 8691 Phoenix Drive, according to Manassas City Police. Charles Robert Stubbs, 41, of no fixed address, was charged with attempted murder, malicious wounding and domestic assault (third or subsequent offense).
Shortly after 10 a.m. Wednesday, police went to the motel for a reported suspicious event. They found that Stubbs assaulted a 44-year-old woman, causing life-threatening injuries. She remains hospitalized.
