Man Arrested For Child Pornography In Manassas: Police

MANASSAS, VA—A man was arrested late last week on multiple counts of child pornography, according to Prince William County Police. Melvin Gene Williams III, 39, of the 10200 block of Barrington Park Circle in Manassas, was charged with one count of possession of child pornography and nine counts of possession of child pornography (second or subsequent offense).

On Friday, a PWC Police detective assigned to the Northern Virginia/DC Internet Crimes against Children Task force concluded an investigation concerning a person downloading suspected child pornography. A search warrant was executed at Williams' home, and multiple images of suspected child porn were found on an electronic device.
