Man Found Dead At Railroad Tracks In Manassas Area: Police

Prince William County Police are investigating the death of a man found unconscious near the railroad tracks.

MANASSAS, VA — A man was found dead near the railroad tracks just west of the Manassas city line last Friday, according to Prince William County Police.

Around 3:51 p.m. Friday, officers responded to Rixlew Lane near the railroad tracks in Manassas. Police say a 45-year-old man was found unconscious on the side of the road. The man was pronounced dead and taken to the medical examiner for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.

The man has not been publicly identified.
