Man Strangles Woman During Fight In Manassas: Police
A man was arrested after assaulting a woman last week at an apartment in Manassas, according to Prince William County Police.

MANASSAS, VA—A man was arrested Monday after assaulting a woman last week at an apartment in the 8000 block of Ashland Avenue, according to Prince William County Police. Daved O'Neil Lansdowne, 26, of the 8000 block of Ashland Avenue in Manassas, was charged with strangulation and domestic assault and battery.
Around noon on Feb. 14, police went to the home for a reported domestic assault. A 24-year-old woman said she and Lansdowne, an acquaintance, were in an argument that escalated into a fight. That's when he pushed her to the ground and began choking her. They eventually separated, and Lansdowne fled before police arrived. He was found and arrested Monday in the area of Portsmouth Road and Sudley Road.
